The Ardishri donated his life-savings for the construction of this temple in 1953. After many years in 1976 the Iranian architect Fariborz Sabha was approached to prepare the blue print of this spectacular design. Once the designed prepared a UK based construction company was approached for the construction. The temple is first of its kind to use the solar power and 120 KW on daily basis.

The temple is located at Kalka ji road near Shambhu Dayal Bagh in Delhi. Travellers/ Visitors can visit this temple from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM in winter and from 9 Am to 7 PM in winters. The temple remains close on Monday and opens from Tuesday to Sunday.

Fee

People who wish to attend prayer meetings can attend in the temple as they take places at regular interval of time. There is no fee charge to enter.

By metro train (Violet Line) from Kalka ji Mandir you can easily reach Lotus temple. The temple is located close to Kalka Ji Park and can be easily available to reach by local public transportation.
