1. Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park
Wrapped around with Western Ghats of South India in Sangue Taluk and eastern border with Karnataka is one of the beautiful natural reserves with exotic species of Animals and birds. Spreaded over an area of 240 sq. kms, it is one of the largest wildlife preserve in Goa. It is also the home to Dudhsagar waterfall, The Tambdi fall and other religious sites. The sanctuary is 54 km away from Panaji.

2. Chorla Ghats
It is one of the best Eco-tourism destinations which are situated above 2000 ft. above sea level on the borders of Goa-Karnataka-Maharashtra boundaries. It is categorized as bird watching and rain forests around Chorla Ghats is an important bird area which is declared by Bird Life International. 3. Dr. Salim Bird Sanctuary
It is Goa’s only bird sanctuary which is situated on the western tip of the Island of Chorao along river Mandovi. Here a variety of local and migratory birds can be found easily. Along with birds it is also home to reptiles, crustaceans and mangroves.

4. Querim/ Keri Beach
It is situated on the northern Beach of Goa. It lies at the mouth of Terekhol River. Terekhol fort which is an ancient Portuguese fort is situated near to this beach. 5. Rivona Caves
Rivona Caves also known as Pandava caves is situated in South Goa in the village of Rivona. The cave is considered as the Buddhist caves where one can see ‘Pitha’ which is believed to be a seat of the teacher. There lies a 16th century stepped well at the entrance of Rivana caves which shows an idol of Hindu God Hanuman.

6. Fort Tiracol
Fort Tiracol/Terekhol Fort is one of the oldest forts which are situated 42 km away from Panaji. In Marathi it means ‘steep-river-bank’. The fort used to give the commanding view of the Arabian Sea. At present time, the fort has been converted in to a hotel which is named as ‘The Fort Tiracol Heritage’. There are only seven rooms in this hotel which is named after a weeks, the hotel holds one of the stunning views of the Arabian sea among other Beaches in Goa.
7. Cumbarjua Canal
It is one of the best canals in Goa where one can see the crocodiles easily. The canal is 20 minute drive from Panaji. One can also see crocodiles sunbathing on the muddy shores of the Cambarjua canal. This canal also connects two largest rivers of Goa- The Mandovi and the Zuari. This place is considered as a home to about 40-50 crocodiles.
