2. Thrissur Pooram

This is an agrarian festival which is celebrated by the Mo tribe in Nagaland. This festival is celebrated on the first week of the May month. This festival is marked as the end of the planting and harvest season. This festival is similar to that of the Baisakhi and Bihu festivals which are celebrated in other states of the country. This festival holds a prominence among the locals. During this time people of Mo community dance and sing to celebrate the harvest season. 5. Dhungri Mela
