Read More on Osho Ashram
History
Osho who was also referred to as Chandra Mohan Jain (or Rajneesh or Acharya Rajneesh), was regarded as a religious leader and a visionary. In the ensuing years, he started gathering a number of supporters known as the neo-sannyasins. He moved to Pune in 1974 and established his foundational ashram. In 1990, he died in the revitalized Pune ashram. His lessons are the foundation of the Osho code of practice, and they cover topics such as the value of mindfulness, meditation, and compassion, as well as innovation, laughter, religious tradition, and many spiritual beliefs. Osho's basic premise was to integrate Gautama Buddha's timeless truths with Nikos Kazantzakis' love for life (Zorba the Greek).
Architecture
It looks to be constructed in the style of a lodge, and access to this one-of-a-kind location requires a 1-kilometer detour from the major highway. The area surrounding it is quite upscale, with plenty of vegetation. The Osho guesthouse also provides various standard lodging options, where participants could choose to live during the program. While attending Osho's contemplative sessions, some participants even stay in neighboring resorts and condominiums. They arrive at the facility early in the morning and depart after dinner to return to their lodging. The Osho Auditorium is the biggest meditating venue in the entire globe. People eat at Osho Ashram's food court, which serves delectable veggie cuisine. At a small drive from the ashram, there are also amazing healthcare facilities too.
