Read More on Sanghi Temple
History
Sanghi Temple is a contemporary edifice. It was built using a blend of old architectural styles from the Cholas of Tamil country and the Chalukyas of modern-day Karnataka. The construction of this temple began in 1991 and was finished in a record-breaking 18 months. This magnificent edifice is perched atop the Paramananda Giri mountain, a short distance from the city.
Architecture
The Sanghi temple is still a harmonious blend of old and new. While the architecture and sculptures are based on well-known antique designs, this is mainly a contemporary house of worship.
The main tower at the entryway, the Raja Gopuram, is fifteen feet tall and intimidating and can be seen from afar. The Vimanam stands thirty-two feet tall. Sri Venkateshwara, an aspect of Vishnu, the supreme God of protection and sustenance, is the presiding deity. His idol, which is erected and venerated in the sanctum sanctorum, is claimed to resemble the presiding deity of Tirupati's famous hill temple.
The Sri Anjaneya temple is located at the bottom of the hill. A series of steps leads to the summit of the temple, with stone elephant heads serving as the bannister. The temple's entryway is a massive, ornately carved door.
Goddess Parvati, Sri Anjaneya, Shiva with Goddess Kamalambika, Goddess Durga, Sri Rama, Ganesha, and Kartikeya are among the other temples in the complex.
