Built by Maharana Jagat Singh V in 1768 AD, Hotel Horizon was originally known as Jag Mandir Palace during his reign. The last Maharaja of Mewar handed over this property to Shri Rameshwar Hotels Pvt Ltd on January 6th, 1970 AD, and it finally opened its doors to guests in 1972 AD.
