Coorg is also known as Kodagu, is a district in the Karnataka state of India. Before 1956, Coorg was a separate state and was merged with the Mysore State, and now it is known as Karnataka. Coorg covers a 4,102 square kilometers area and is one of the less populated places in Karnataka.
