Sai Baba taught his followers that tolerance is necessary but one must know when to stop tolerating, he taught them the joy of oneness and religious brotherhood. He promoted the idea of ‘sab ka malik ek’. These beliefs along with his preachings ended up inspiring a lot of his devotees. Thus people from around the world travel to Shirdi just to be at the same place where once Sai Baba lived, to walk in the streets where he left his imprints, and to visit the homes where his followers resided.
