Dudhsagar Waterfalls

About Dudhsagar Waterfalls Goa

The Dudhsagar Waterfalls Goa, one of India's tallest waterfalls, is located within the Mollem National Park. The magnificent falls are located 60 kilometers inland on the Goa-Karnataka border, about 60 kilometers from Panaji. On the Mandovi river, the 310 m high Sea of Milk waterfall is divided into four tiers and resembles a gigantic flow of milk spilling down the hill. The Dudhsagar waterfall's timings are flexible.

The finest time to see the Dudhsagar waterfalls location is during the monsoon when it is in full flow and the surrounding deciduous forests are at their lushest. While the majority of visitors arrive at the Dudhsagar waterfalls Goa by vehicle or their private transport from Panaji and the surrounding areas, others prefer to visit the falls via train or trekking. The popular Dudhsagar Railway trek is now closed to the public, however, the lower falls walk is still available.

This waterfall impact builds the idea of a milky white sea dropping from such a large height. The Falls were then lent with this Dudhsagar Falls name as an outcome of this. The river transforms into Dudhsagar Falls when it plunges through the hilly terrain that runs along the Karnataka-Goa border.

The water rushing from the Falls produces a green pool at its base as it flows towards the Falls' feet. The water of the Dudhsagar Falls begins to flow westwards from this point, eventually joining and becoming a component of the vast Arabian Sea. A massively expanded forest covers the entire landmark in the background of the falls. Visitors have to pay nothing for the Dudhsagar Waterfalls entry fee.

Best time to visit

The greatest time to visit the falls is during the monsoon or just after the monsoon when they are at their most ferocious and vibrant. During this season, however, be cautious when picking trekking routes to Dudhsagar waterfalls Goa, since the region may get quite slick, especially with the river swelling up.

Please keep in mind that while the scenery surrounding the falls is still breathtaking in the summer, the falls themselves may not be at their peak. As a result, summer is the best time to avoid going to the falls.
