History
The Army Training Command Shimla established the Army Heritage Museum in Annandale in May 2006. This is one of India's most impressive galleries of its genre. It is devoted to the Indian Army and contains all of the artifacts dating back to 2500 BC. The Indian Army's ethos and tradition are beautifully portrayed by the different items arranged in separate components of this exhibit. Travelers will learn about everything from the historical Indian Army to the scientifically superior Indian Army.
Architecture
The gallery is divided into different sections that maintain a treasure trove of contemporary and traditional arms and ammunition, jerseys, banners, the arsenal of weapons, the relationship between the military and the country, details about peacekeeping troops, honors given to soldiers, and the preservation of the region's flora and fauna. It is situated at an elevation of 6,117 feet. The milestones of the 1971 war and the Kargil battle can be found there. Visitors can also learn about brave Maharana Pratap, Rani Laxmibai, Shivaji Maharaj, and other heroes. Tourists will also learn about modern armies such as Field Marshal Manekshaw, Carriappaa, and others who laid down their lives to defend their land from invaders.
