History
The Birla family constructed the famous Birla Mandir. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narayan and Goddess Lakshmi. Other deities in the temple include Lord Shiva and his wife Parvathi. The temple has its different charisma that attracts myriad tourists from all over India. The temple complex embodies the Birla Museum which is one of the most visited spots in Bhopal. It was fabricated in 1971 to educate the tourists of Bhopal about the city's cultural history.
