History


The Gohar Mahal in Bhopal was built in 1820 by Qudisiya Begum, Bhopal's first female monarch, also known as Gohar Begum. As a result, this masterpiece has a long history in Bhopal, dating back to the time of the Nawabs and Begums. Gohar Begum became the first woman to gain the throne of Bhopal in 1819, changing the patriarchal ruling history of the city. Madhya Pradesh Tourism maintains this property, which is now recognized as an important heritage site.

However, it is an excellent resource for learning more about Indian history, particularly the Nawab dynasty in Bhopal. A magnificent combination of Hindu and Mughal architecture will once again enchant you. Some of Bhopal's old and aged structures are also housed here, and they have a certain old charm of their own. Architecture


The Gohar Mahal features a stunning blend of two architectural forms, as well as Jharokhas that gaze out into the courtyard. Great service and friendly team

Our Rajasthan trip was very unorganized and from day 1 we need to argue for each committed hotel and details. Driver and hotel were not informed in advance and we need to pay 12000/- for the forceful event at the hotel which was never informed to us.
