Read More on Beatles Ashram
History
Beatles Ashram was founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and was in existence before the entrance of the Beatles band. Individuals who were interested in learning and developing an educational career in this field were taught Transcendental Meditation by the Maharishi.
In the year 1968, a member of the British band The Beatles came to the ashram. Before going to this location, the Beatles attended a Maharishi session in Wales, which inspired them to travel to Rishikesh and remain in his ashram for three months. They enrolled in the TM course and remained at the Beatles Ashram's back-end accommodations. They had better facilities than the other students, including access to running water 24 hours a day, private restrooms, and electric heaters.

The ashram's main attractions include its gorgeous dome-shaped structure, amazing graffiti works, and a beautiful painting of members of the Beatles band painted on one of Ved Bhavan's interior walls.
