History
It is believed that the Vaishno Devi severed the head of Bhairon Nath and tossed it to the adjacent hill of Trikuta. Bhairon realized his mistakes before dying and asked Mata Vaishno Devi for forgiveness. The goddess not only gave forgiveness but also blessed him with being worshipped by the devotees who would come seeking her blessing at the Bhawan.
