History
A Persian man named Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti was settled in the Lahore region which was then part of India. Architecture
This famous shrine is a beautiful piece of rich Mughal architecture as it was built by the Mughal emperor. Ajmer Dargah sharif was built in the 13th century. Buland Darwaza is a giant gate through which you can enter into the courtyard of this dargah.
Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti’s grave was kept inside a dome which was surrounded by a silver railing and marble screen. You can visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah at any time you found suitable as it is a religious place but still keep the timings of the dargah in mind. October to March is considered the best to visit Rajasthan as the weather remains calm here. You can visit the dargah in the first six days of the month of Rajab when the annual celebration (Uras) is celebrated.
