The Nareli Jain Temple, also known as Sri Gyanodaya Tirth Kshetra, is a modern structure designed by RK Marbles' Ashok Patni. The Nareli Jain Temple Ajmer was consecrated by Acharya Sri Vidya Sagar's pupil Jain Sage, Muni Sudha Sagar, and construction began in 1994-95. In the year 2002, the temple complex was home to the world's largest Ashta-dhatu sculptures. The temple was expected to cost roughly Rs. 50 crore, but it ended up costing close to Rs. 100 crore. The Nareli Jain Temple grounds stretch throughout the entire hilly terrain, and thousands of devotees, mostly from the Digambara sect of Jain communities, flock to the temple.

The Nareli Jain temple has a modern architectural pattern and is slightly angular in style. The Nareli Jain Temple complex is made up of 24 temples, each of which is dedicated to one of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras. The images of three Jain Tirthankaras named Arahnath, Kunthunath, and Sri Shantinath have been installed at the temple, out of a total of 24. The Tirthankara idols each weigh around 24 tonnes. The sculptures and elaborate decorations of the temple are well-known.

History


Ajmer's Nareli Jain Temple, is the best tourist attraction in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Tourists come here to appreciate the hilly areas away from the city. A modern building designed by RK Marble's Ashok Patni is confirmed to exist. The temple was sanctified by Jain philosopher Sudha Sagar, a disciple of Acharya Shri Vidha Sagar, and construction began in 1994-95. The greatest Ashtadhatu deity was placed in the temple premises in 2002; the temple cost around Rs 50 crore, but the budget of almost Rs 100 crore was exhausted.

Nareli Jain Temple in Ajmer is a Digambar Jains important pilgrimage destination that is well-known among tourists for its stunning and elaborate marble carvings. On the first floor of the main shrine is a 22-foot-tall idol of Guru Adinath Ji. On the hills above, there are 24 little temples dedicated to various Tirthankars.

Great service and friendly team

Our Rajasthan trip was very unorganized and from day 1 we need to argue for each committed hotel and details. Driver and hotel were not informed in advance and we need to pay 12000/- for the forceful event at the hotel which was never informed to us.
