It was established in 1890. It had another name called the Winchester Museum. Post-independence, it was renamed as Sardar Patel Museum. Also known as Sardar Sangrahalaya, this museum premises have more than 8000 ancient relics, Art & science gallery, a planetarium, an amphitheater, an auditorium, and a restaurant.

Ambaji Temple

Ambika Niketan Temple is a prominent pilgrimage site in Surat. It is located on the river banks of River Tapi. It was built in 1969 with two stories and houses Ashtabuja Ambika as the main deity with many mini shrines built around them. It is mainly crowded during the Navratri celebrations.

Swaminarayan Temple

Science Centre

It is a multi-facility complex built by the Surat Municipal Corporation in 2009. The complex houses a Science center, an art gallery, an auditorium, a museum, a planetarium, and an amphitheater. Surat Castle

Dutch Garden

It is a Dutch-style garden characterized by efficient use of space, topiary use, and small artificial canals of long, rectangular thin stretches of water. ISKCON Temple

Chintamani Jain Temple

It was built in 1699 during the rule of Aurangzeb. It was constructed to honor Solanki King Kumarpal and his Jain advisor Acharya Hemachandraji. This old Surat temple may look simple from the outside but has beautiful wood carvings and ceiling paintings made from natural vegetable colors.

Dumas Beach

Dandi Beach

It is one of the most iconic and cleanest beaches in the Arabian sea. It is located in the Pal region of Surat and is considered one of the best tourist sites. It has more than 100 species of aquatic creatures in 52 special tanks with their natural ecosystem.
