History
The history of the temple says that a war took place between King Hammir and Alauddin Khilji in 1299 AD at the Ranthambore fortification. During the fight, they filled their godowns with food and other necessary things in Ranthambhore Fort, where the King dwells. The stored things in godowns were getting over as the war lasted for many years.
King Hammir was a great devotee to Lord Ganesh. One night when he was sleeping, Lord Ganesh came into his dream and said that all the lacking and problems would be over by tomorrow morning. An idol of Lord Ganesh with three eyes (Trinetra) stamped from one of the walls of the fort the next day morning. The war got over and a miracle took place while the godowns got filled again. King Hammir built a temple of Lord Ganesh in 1300 AD. King Hammir Dev Chauhan placed the deities of Lord Ganesh, Riddhi Siddhi (his wife), and two sons (Shub Labh) along with the idol of mushak (mouse, his vehicle).
