History


Shri Appasaheb Maharaj, who was Maharaja (Ruler) of Satara in 1842, built the reservoir. Venna Lake is a 28-acre man-made lake with a perimeter that is around 7-8 kilometers long. The lake was established in the beginning to offer a source of water for the adjacent municipality and to meet their day-to-day requirements.

Great service and friendly team

Our Rajasthan trip was very unorganized and from day 1 we need to argue for each committed hotel and details. Driver and hotel were not informed in advance and we need to pay 12000/- for the forceful event at the hotel which was never informed to us.
