Jaisalmer located in the desert region is prone to extreme temperature. The temperature ranges between 49 degrees C and 25 degrees C in summers, while in winter it ranges between 24 degrees C and 5 degrees C. The temperature falls at night during in summer also, so bring appropriate clothes depending on the time of your visit.

Patwon ki Haveli- Also known as the Mansion of Brocade Merchants, it is a famous tourist attraction in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Built by a rich trader in the 19th Century, it is a cluster of five small Havelis.

Nathmal ki Haveli- It is an ornate architecture in the heart of the city. It was commissioned to the then prime minister Diwan Mohata Nathmal as his official residence. 

Bada Bagh- One of the relics of Rajasthan's illustrious past, it is primarily a series of cenotaphs set amidst a garden. The beautiful golden cenotaphs gleam in the deserts of Jaisalmer and the adjoining garden. 

Jaisalmer War Museum- It was established in the military station to honor the soldiers of the 'Battle of Longewala' that was fought in 1971. It showcases the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army.

Amar Sagar Lake- It is an oasis near the palace of Amar Singh, located on the outskirts of Jaisalmer city. It is very close to the 17th-century citadel which was constructed by Maharawal Akhai Singh.

Tanot Mata Temple-  For those visiting the Thar Desert, Situated in the Tanot village of district Jaisalmer is a major attraction. This historical temple is associated with many legends and curiosity towards its sacred power and purity. 

Vyas Chhatri- it is an assemblage of golden sandstones, which stands as an edifice of Rajasthani architecture. It was built to honor Sage Vyasa, who compiled the 300,000 verses of the great epic Mahabharata.

Salim Singh ki Haveli- It is one of the most beautiful edifices situated in the heart of the city. It surely is one of the main tourist attractions in the city. It was commissioned by Salim Singh who was the prime minister of that time.
